Eragon

Too hasty. Is it an insincere director who failed to capture the essence of the book or is it a lack of funds? A lot of scenes could have be ALOT grander. 10 people at war? come on... and the choice of cast is totally inappropriate! very disappointing. But overall, it managed to make me wonder bout Dragon Riders.

Breathtaking chereography. they literally SPLURGE to make every single detail so beautiful. it's a fucking national parade there at the palace. seeing "Emmanuel" as the distressed prince and a talentless jay chow was freaking funny.

The Banquet

cinematography, soundtrack is fabolous.
my most fav character is zhang zi yi. she is hot, strong and ambitious, a woman who would do anything to keep her and her lover prince safe. felt very sad for her cos although she has power, she is lonely and without love.
the fighting scenes are convincing and well chereographed. a beautiful show.

a Good man without luck on sex.his colleagues around him livens up the show. i like the indian old man who curses with an accent all the time and kept saying, "Fuck a goat." Without them, i would only be seeing a boring man who watches survivor with his neighbours, with an erected penis all the time.
Fav scene: The waxing scene. hilarious.

Rob-B-Hood

i love pure hong kong shows. it has been quite a while tht one quality show like this comes up.
every fight scene is as creative and refreshing ever. especially like the part when jacky did a drum solo while he was fighting with some gao shou.
and the object to fight for this time is a real life, innocent, cute baby. this injects much emotions to a action pack, making this kung fu comedy a show with excitement, laughter, and tears.

a picture i have in mind

black and white.

a naked man holding up a woman on his left shoulder. he's back facing
the camera, thus only his muscular back and butt can be seen.

the woman is lifeless, her long hair falls on his back. she is naked
too, revealing her bony shoulders. she looks up. her face is tear
stricken, yet she has a calm expression now.

~to show the emotional support and love between a man and a woman.~
the time traveller's wife

beautiful. the use of french, vintage records; a love story between a librarian and an artist..

i like reading a book i like, being touched by it and sharing a private experience with the characters that only I, exclusively have at that very moment.
it is a very simple and peaceful world, where nobody can disturb me. all i do is watch silently..

i hate science fiction, and old fashioned love story. but a time travelling man trying to lead normal lives with his wife is amazingly tear jearking love
story cum science fiction.

cause and effect.
when time is muddled, it's nothing. chronological makes no sense. cause and effect is blurred.

i LOVE this book. i accompanied henry and clare throughout their lives.. i know them.

i time travelled with henry. he doesnt know clare but clare knows him. then, he knows little
clare but little clare doesnt know him. both build memories at different time dimensions

i was clare, 6, afraid of the naked man, accepting him, and then...
